Instant Magician by Jan Torell in cooperation with Sonny Fontana This is a wonderful audience participation routine. The performer invites an adult or child onstage dresses them in a magicians costume. The spectator stands with his hands behind his back and the magician puts his arms through the costume and performs some magic. It looks as if the spectator is doing the magic. The magician verbally cues the spectator how to react and the illusion is perfect and very funny. This great idea allows you to reclaim some of that old material in your magical junk drawer. This version also has a feature where you begin by showing a small black bag. You put some magical items into the bag (cards, rope, handkerchief, etc.) then you turn the bag inside out and it transforms into the magicians costume with all the items in the pocket ready to use. This used to be a favorite routine of Lance Burton.

The best part with this routine is it gives you a great chance to clean out your junk drawer. It is also great with an adult in the jacket. It is not just for kids. Or if you have some manip skills use it here.

Perrier With a Twist by Kevin James This is a routine that Kevin developed in the trenches performing in restaurants and private parties for many years. It is a powerful multi-phase routine that is perfect for strolling environments. You begin by lighting a piece of paper and it visibly turns into a bottle that is handed out for examination. A 50 cent coin penetrates in and out of the bottle very cleanly and visually right through the glass. The magician explains that he can tell the secrets and sticks his finger through a "trap door" in the bottle. Then he unscrews the bottom of the bottle and screws it back on! Then passing it out for examination. You then take a cocktail napkin and cover the bottle, poking a hole so the top of the bottle can be seen. The performer pours water from the bottle and then crushes the paper into a ball. The bottle vanishes!!! The napkin is given to the spectator as a souvenir.

An alternative ending can be to have 4 or 5 small glasses on your table and after the popcorn is gone you can pour out cola, cherry soda, orange soda, mountain dew and 7-up!!!!
